Tuition Policies

How tuition, programs and family discounts work at GMA Jiu Jitsu.

We offer a range of tuition options designed to fit different budgets and commitment levels, and we are upfront about pricing — no hidden fees and no bait-and-switch. The longer your commitment, the better the discount. We encourage every prospective student to take a free trial class first so we can recommend the right program for your goals.

Monthly Tuition

Monthly tuition depends on the program, the number of classes per week, and the length of the agreement. Specific rates are discussed in person after your free trial class so we can match you with the right program rather than quote you a number that does not fit.

Program Options

  • Discounted Long-Term Programs: 12, 24, or 36 month agreements with the best monthly rates. A free uniform is included when joining a 12-month or longer program on the first day.
  • Paid-In-Full Discounts: Pay your entire program upfront for additional savings.
  • 6-Month Short-Term Programs: Paid-in-full programs for students not ready for a long-term commitment.
  • Month-to-Month: Non-discounted, no long-term agreement required. 30-day notice to cancel.
  • Pay-Per-Class: Buy a block of classes. No discount, no commitment.

Family Discounts

We offer family discounts of 10% to 25% off for second and third family members enrolling. The exact discount depends on the programs chosen. Ask about family pricing during your enrollment meeting.

What's Included

  • Every Jiu-Jitsu class on the schedule for your program, including open mat
  • Morning and evening class times, Monday through Friday
  • Gi and No-Gi training under the Rocian Gracie Jr. curriculum
  • Rank registered through the IBJJF and the USA Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation
  • Access to cross-training in other martial arts through Global Martial Arts USA where your program includes it

What Is Not Included

  • Gis, rash guards, belts and personal training gear beyond the included uniform
  • Belt testing and promotion fees
  • Tournament registration and IBJJF membership fees for competitors
  • Seminars and guest instructor events

After School & Homeschool Tuition

The after school and homeschool programs are billed separately from Jiu-Jitsu tuition and include local school pickup, snacks, homework assistance, care, and martial arts classes. Rates, registration fees and school-break policies are published by that program — see gma-aspschool.com.

Billing, Freezes & Cancellation

Tuition is billed on a recurring schedule agreed at enrollment. Month-to-month memberships require 30 days written notice to cancel. Long-term agreements run for their full term; talk to us if your circumstances change, as we can often freeze an account for injury, deployment or extended travel rather than cancel it.

Scholarships

We offer scholarship programs for qualifying students. Inquire at the academy for details and eligibility.
