Fast-paced grappling without the gi — wrestling, clinch work, and submissions for adults and teens 14 and up. Included in every membership.
No-Gi is Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu trained in a rash guard and shorts instead of the traditional uniform. With no fabric to grip, the game speeds up and shifts toward body control, wrestling, and scrambles.
It is the format most closely related to MMA and to real-world self-defense, where nobody is wearing a gi. Athletes coming from wrestling, football, or other combat sports usually find No-Gi the most natural entry point into the art.
Most of our students train both. The Gi teaches patience and precision; No-Gi teaches speed and control. Both are included in every membership at no extra cost.

Grip-free grappling built on wrestling fundamentals and submission chains.
Single-legs, double-legs, snap-downs, and level changes — how to dictate where the fight happens.
Underhooks, overhooks, and head position. The exchange that decides who ends up on top.
Keeping your guard without sleeve and collar grips — frames, hip movement, and timing.
Guillotines, darces, arm-triangles, and heel hooks linked into sequences rather than trained in isolation.
Modern leg-lock positions taught safely and progressively, with clear rules on what is permitted.
The chaotic moments between positions — where No-Gi matches are usually won.
If you like a faster pace or you came from another combat sport, this is your room.
Your takedowns already translate. No-Gi adds the submission game on top of what you know.
The grappling format that maps directly onto mixed martial arts.
Training without grips exposes holes in your game and sharpens your body control.
In a real confrontation nobody is wearing a gi. No-Gi is the closest rehearsal.

“You won't find a school around here that offers better training. Most schools nowadays are just black belt farms — they hand out black belts like candy. GMA is definitely the real deal, and I'm glad that we are a part of it.”
Your first class is free — no commitment, no pressure. Just show up ready to learn and our instructors will guide you through everything.
